Let me rephrase. He's the hot name, and is the leading canidate as of right now. Could someone jump in? Sure, but right now Withers has the inside track. And this is not my first forum rodeo at all. hey guys, first post here. ive been reading this thread and wanted to give you a heads up on what i know. my dads girlfriend works for akron, used to chat it up with Ianello, here's stuff from some pretty reliable sources. i can confirm that tressel was at akron on tuesday because of the head coaching job. i do not know how the meeting was, if a deal was offered, if he wants to coach, etc. but she said something that got me pretty excited. she said that akron is going to really make a push for the show cause rule. now when she said that, i figured that didnt mean much at first. but apparently we're very excited about the opportunity to have a chance with him and we're apparently going all out for him. obviously we're going to push hard for the show cause rule. so it sounds like they're a little deeper in conversations then we think... what i guy out of all of this is that he was at akron, visited, talked about the job opening and the show cause rule. not sure what it means, but sounds very good. and it also may be in fact rumor. the only fact out of this is that tressel was at akron on tuesday. ill update as much as i can as soon as i find out more. if we get him, i see ... oh, and
