If its the worst job in the country why would he want it? Well, why would he have wanted to coach at Wayne State? Two reasons: he won't have to work for a guy (TW) who screwed him two years ago. 2. He's either really, really happy at WSU or he thinks he can get a better job in the next few years (my guess is he's really happy and good for him)

I have it on good authority that Winters thought he had the job two years ago. TW made it seem like it was his when he interviewed and flew him down to NC for the soccer championship. I feel strongly saying he turned it down largely due to feeling like they played him then. TW's bad decision two years ago comes back to haunt us again

Here's a local 2012 recruit that I think has flown under the radar...Kevin Enright. I've known his family ever since his uncle Tom played football for the Zips back in the 70s. I was able to watch some of his games this season and I don't know how he hasn't been recruited heavier. Listed at 6'4" 240 with 4.7 speed. I talked to his coaches at Walsh Jesuit and they say he's one of, if not the best TE they have ever coached, which is saying something because they have been their 30 years. So there is still a chance for 2012. But it is going to take a different approach than Ianello used. Here's a link to Enright's highlights:
