For as much as "The Don" butts heads with LP, He, the City, County, and the State have really done a great job keeping what remains of the rubber industry in Akron!! There had been talk here and there at first that they were gone (I work for Bridgestone/Firestone), but once the state gave the company a 75%(!!!) tax cut for employee retention, it seems they changed their mind quickly.
