bmaker
Our boys regained momentum in grand fashion today in a noonday match against MAC newcomer Florida Atlantic University. The Zips gave the Owls a very cool welcome as four separate players participated in the scoring, including Cam Carris' first collegiate goal late in the second period.Keep it up, boys. See you on Sunday against Cleveland State at 6:00 pm. CSU defeated Missouri State 2-0 earlier in the season so they will not be push-overs. johnnyzip84
That's the way to get the momentum going again boys! Now go get the Vikes on Sunday Link
ZachTheZip
That was a great game to attend. Dumb time in the middle of classes, but attendance was OK for most of the game until they all left once the game was well in hand. FAU's goalie, Phil, got more than an earful from the Rowdies during his awful performance. This calls FAU's admittance into the MAC even further into question, as they have now been outscored 10-0 in MAC play after just two games. bmaker
I did not attend but I was told by someone who did that the Rowdies took things a bit too far in their disrespect for the opponents during team introductions. Good natured ribbing is fine...I question the need to be mean-spirited.

It's possible they crossed a line, but then again the word "suck" apparently offends enough people to get you kicked out of Big Ten stadiums. zippyrifle32
personally, i see 'suck' possibly being offensive if it is closely followed by "swallow". in any other way, it is really one of the most mild and harmless (and slightly unoriginal) taunts in the book
