GoZips Posted October 23, 2008 Report Posted October 23, 2008 Those buggers at the Sporting News have the upcoming MAC men's basketball season figured out.Sporting News has the Zips finishing second in the East behind a strong Miami Dead Hawks team. The Golden Felons rate only fourth place in the MAC East. The Falcons of BUGS picked for third. Withthe Ohio Bobcats picked for fifth. That leaves last place in the East to the Buffalo Bulls. In the West the WMU Broncos figure to finish fist. Then EMU, CMU, NIU, TwoLeeDue, and Balless Statedragging on its rear.A really neat aspect to the News view is that they list the MAC as a high major conference. Quote
w00t Posted October 24, 2008 Report Posted October 24, 2008 Unless they kick one of the convicts in their backcourt off the team (what are the odds of THAT happening?), there is no way Can't finishes fourth in the MAC East. Quote

It's nice to see the program's reputation continue to grow with someone who follows it more closely than the national media.Link Quote
Wally B Posted November 5, 2008 Report Posted November 5, 2008 Sorry my response is a bit dated. I perused the Sporting News last week and if memory serves me correct didn't they list Akron as having the best atmosphere??? Quote
