Michael Beaven writes a nice article about DK in the Beacon. It'd be awesome if DK can keep playing at a high level from here on out. One concern is JD's admission that he (DK) is not 100% (in terms of injury) at this point. I suppose all of the players are nursing various bumps and bruises at this time of the year.Link

He may not be 100%, and I doubt there are many players on the team who are, but the way he ran against EMU was scary good. I can only imagine how good he might be if he can run for nearly 300 yards and 3 TDs when he's not even 100%.This team is banged up, maybe having an extra long bye week will be good. I was worried about coming out flat against Toledo, but if the team can heal, I don't think that will be a problem.Kennedy for President!

Johnson for Veep!Watching the UB-OU game last night made me think about UB's receiver Roosevelt. There has GOT to be a good line in there somewhere (Kennedy, Johnson, Roosevelt) when UB travels here for the bowl's swan song.Just thought of another. Jow about "Slick Drew Willy"? :D

Johnson will likely get more carries now that he's healthy again. At EMU, it was his first game back since being carted off the field in an ambulance. The coaches were cautious with him, but after a break like this they shouldn't feel like they need to be careful.
