bmaker
No details available, but Hartwick's web site lists a victory for the Zips 2-1 over Hartwick.Just posted on the Akron website, Steve-O comes through with two more goals to lead the Zips' charge. Hartwick was getting desperate in the second half, fouling excessively and having one player sent off.

UAZipster0305
All this good news and I'm still a little disappointed the result wasn't a shutout. What can I say, as a national power, we should have high standards. Great win and let's keep it rolling!

What can I say, as a national power, we should have high standards. Great win and let's keep it rolling!Lets just be content with having a team to really be proud of. Our soccer team has the potential to actually compete(and win) a national title!
GoZips
Sunday afternoon pleasure. #25 Michigan State clinches Big Ten regular season men's soccer titlewith a 1-nil victory over #6 Northwestern. This bodes well for the Zips. All this juggles the infamousRPI pretty much in Akron's favor. The Zippies just might get a good seed this year.Northwestern has literally zero offense. How they ever got ranked as high as second is beyond me.

Still no chinks in Wake Forest's armor. Maryland should have moved up.
