ZachTheZip Posted November 28, 2008 Report Posted November 28, 2008 This article is on GoZips.comAn important quote:The University of Akron is currently organizing fan buses to Northwestern for Sunday’s match. The only cost to the fan will be the price of the game ticket and food. Further details regarding the bus schedule, eating arrangements and more will be posted on GoZips.com as soon as they are finalized. The whole article has tons of information about this whole debacle, though. A great read. Quote
bmaker Posted November 28, 2008 Report Posted November 28, 2008 Glad to hear about the bus trip. Hopefully we'll have at least three loads ready to go by Sunday morning. I still question the rationale for the move to the opponent's field. "According to NCAA regulations in place for the soccer championships, if it is determined in advance that a match cannot be played at the higher seed’s home field, the site must be moved to the other participating school’s home field." I have scoured the soccer tournament guidebook and can find nothing to support this statement. Perhaps someone can point it out to me. Quote
