johnnyzip84 Posted December 24, 2008 Report Posted December 24, 2008 This means HALF of ALL black FBS head coaches are working in the MAC. It also means that 23% of all MAC HC's are black. I'll be very curious to see how this affects recruiting over the next few years. I think the MAC has a special opportunity right now to forge a unique and diverse identity, particularly when it comes to football. I don't expect success all around, but I predict it WILL be a net gain for the conference.ESPN Link Quote
ctmjbowes@sbcglobal.net Posted December 26, 2008 Report Posted December 26, 2008 I agree with your points JohnnyZip. Certainly it is plausible to believe that at least a few potential recruits will take notice of the number of black head coaches are now at work in the MAC. GO ZIPS!SeeTeeZipperaka OBC Mug #89 Quote
