timmyboy Posted January 22, 2009 Report Posted January 22, 2009 Konz granted fifth yearCan't State senior tight end Jameson Konz, a graduate of Lake High School, has been granted a fifth year of eligibility by the NCAA. Konz, who was expected to be a huge piece of the Can't State offense last season, missed the enitre season after injuring his ankle in the season opener against Boston College. "Obviously, we're very pleased that the NCAA granted Jameson another year of eligibility," Can't State head coach Doug Martin said in a press release. "We were counting on him to be a big part of our offense last year and it¹s great that he'll get a chance to show what he¹s capable of doing for us in 2009." Quote
