Dave in Green
In the second post of this thread I said I liked the new look. After others documented problems, I went back and discovered the new site did have technical problems. That's exactly what I would expect the people in the athletic department to do if they read this stuff. If they don't have the good judgment to separate the real problems from the delivery style of the complaints, the problem is with the service provider (them), not the customer (us). If they don't have the good judgment to separate the real problems from the delivery style of the complaints, the problem is with the service provider (them), not the customer (us).i asked mack at the game yesterday why the department would launch a brand new website when its only half finished. he gave me a look and i said "please don't tell me that's the finished product." he said that he hadn't looked at it yet. i told him there were some less important links not working (like the saac stuff), but even the ticket page looked like shit and one of the links there wasn't working right (see below), he was pissed. said that he'd look at it and that it would be an interesting monday morning. zippyrifle32
well it changed for me, but for the worse. now on the front page, the headlining photos are so big they require a side scroll bar and the size of the picture varies with each story. the individual sport pages seem to be fine, but it's still pretty messed up. Dave in Green
Just took a quick run through with IE7, and every page I visited was error-free. I still like the cleaner look, and was impressed by how quickly all the pages loaded. There may still be problems there, but I didn't see any.
