ZachTheZip
The Zips are taking on Can't State at Firestone Stadium for the MAC softball tournament at 5:00PM on Wednesday, May 6th. Anybody that can make it should get out there and hope it doesn't get rained out. I don't want to see a Zips team lost to Can't in a tournament, ever. ZachTheZip
Doesn't look like the rain will let up, but the best thing about Firestone stadium is that most of the stands are underneath a roof to keep you dry. :screwks: :screwks: :screwks:
ZippyRulz
Softball beat Ohio, Ball State (top seed) & WMU. Baseball beats Can't 8-4 and Stevi Large beats her MAC record in hammer throw by 6 feet. What a day for the Zips!

What a day for the Zips! Quite a day indeed. I am simply amazed at the softball team. Three wins in one day in the conference tournament and all three against teams that were seeded better. That is amazing in any sport! I don't know what will happen today but if the Zips can win another 3 against higher seeds they go dancin'! I realize that may be too much to ask since these ladies have got to be running on fumes today.I hope a buzz has been generated about what they have accomplished already this weekend though and the future of this program certainly looks bright.
