ZachTheZip
It's time to start campaigning to get butts in seats for the grand opening. Where is the huge marketing push that should be starting right about now to get it to stick in peoples minds? Here's a start: Facebook Event - Add it and then invite all your friends. oh, and marketing department? get to work. ZachTheZip
Here's an idea: promote the game to the point that it sells out for every seat except for 10000 season tix. The you can say the only way in in is to buy a season ticket, and people will start buying those. The prices are a steal for a stadium that nice. Class of 82
I've heard quite a few ads for season tickets on WKNR. That's a good start. But I'm hoping they start some game ticket give-aways on the local-talk programs. Not too darned many, but plenty enough to get Rizzo, Roda, Reghi, Brinda, et al, talking up Zips football as much as possible.WKNR is a big OSU honk, but they are still the perfect venue for reaching out to college football fans in our region. And they ought to have a WKNR live tailgating remote when the stadium opens.Any thoughts? Getting the local media on board, especially WKNR, will be a huge benefit for us. We have to make sure and make known that the INFO will absolutely be the cool place to be on Saturdays.
