Parking lot above North Parking Deck to close

Recommended Posts

So instead of creating more parking spaces, the university decided to close a parking lot, the lot between the North Parking deck and the Lincoln Building. I don't see the need for a new polymer building, but to be honest I really don't care. I just think after all the complaints about parking, the university would have done something about it.

more or less bad timing. they're building the new parking deck on south campus that'll hold something to the tune of 1500 cars, but it wont be done for another year.

First, that was announced a while ago. Second, the lot has 224 spaces. The Parking deck being built will have 1200 plus. That a gain of a 1000 spaces. Third, the polymer engineering department drives our research. More research space means more research capability which means more research grants and it means more respect for the school. More respect for the school means your degree is worth more.

We've got a top program in the technology field with the Poly Sci dept. Do what you need to do to keep that baby on top!
