RootforRoo44 Posted August 26, 2009 Report Share Posted August 26, 2009 Any students that are interested in playing Club Baseball this year,Tryouts are August 31st, September 2nd, and September 4th at 4pm at Erie Island Park (1532 Peckham St Akron, OH 44320-173) Attend at least two of the three dates.Some information on the team:Had a .600 winning percentage last season, went 2-0 against scholarship baseball programs, and swept rival Can't State in the season series.This will be our second seasonThe season starts this fallThe team will play a schedule of around 40-45 games through next spring.We are pay to play but thanks to the help of a few sponsors, not only are our dues much less than most Club baseball teams but we also play many more games.For more info on Club Baseball please check out http://www.facebook.com/AkronClubBaseballor email AkronClubBaseball@gmail.com with questions.
