I don't know why they expect people to show up only 4 hours before kickoff to tailgate! Hell, didn't people used to camp overnight at the RB? I plan on being packed up and ready to walk to the stadium by 12:30. Follow the band, Stop by the circle at Carroll and Union streets. Get to my seats around 1:20. Pregame festivities start at 1:35. It takes what, 1/2 hour to get stuff set up and 1/2 hour to tear down. In other words, I'm looking at cramming in all of my tailgating into 1-1/2 hours! When we went to OSU, I was at the lot at 7:00 AM and was worried about getting a spot! That was 5 hours before kickoff! We said we were going to do this thing right, and leaving only 4 hours prior to the game to tailgate is rediculous. Lots should open 6:00 AM the day of a game. Also, I will gladly pay the parking attendant if I get there before they do. I'm not trying to cause trouble, I'm just trying to do this thing RIGHT!

You're absolutely right on with this post. This policy, I hope, is something that they will soon be changing.
