zff Posted March 25, 2004 Report Posted March 25, 2004 Here is a link to an article regarding Coach Owens and half the old staff. Look out world here comes Ashland Kind of funny it sounds just like the last nine years at Akron. Quote
GoZips Posted March 25, 2004 Report Posted March 25, 2004 Great article. Hmmmm... wonder if we could swap Elmo or DaveyDiddle for this writer. Wondering if Ashland is contemplating a jump to I-AA. New stadium, new budget, outstanding staff, etc. See that LO still has close contact with outstanding up and coming OSU coach Luke Fickle. Ashland Spring game April 16th at 7:00PM. Might be worth the drive. Quote
Z-P Posted March 25, 2004 Report Posted March 25, 2004 Really nice article.........well written, factual and seemingly as complete as a story like that can be at this point in time............ I wish all of them well, and guarantee I'll catch at least the Wayne State game this year. Good Luck Guys if you read this Quote
ZipDude Posted March 26, 2004 Report Posted March 26, 2004 Z-P, I love you Man! Yes, nice article and in fact looks like it was cut and pasted out of GoZips.com, or maybe you UAM buddies are woprking both ends of the stick or burning both ends of the candle. You know how I feel about Lo (just not as much love as for YOU) but u know what the Dude says in Z-P style..................................SSDD (same old sh*t different day) Now as to Like Fickell, he is n0ot at OSU anymore! I believe he left with the other D staff rats when Dantanio went to UC. I believe Luke is the D Coordinator!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! In any event, its good to see the gang back together again and i cant wait for Asj;and v. Wayne State................go Warriors. Quote
Guest Stymied Posted March 27, 2004 Report Posted March 27, 2004 Good article. Don't think I will go down to a spring game at Ashland on the same night as the Akron spring game on campus. I will follow the Ashland guys in the papers and online. Good luck to them. Quote
