RACER Posted September 22, 2009 Report Posted September 22, 2009 i think things will take care of themselves.if jd goes 7-5 he probably keeps his job.6-6 i guess would be up in the air.none of us are making the decision to fire jd,or not.i am sick of hearing excuses though why we don't win.i knew as soon as cj was suspended that would be the excuse of why we lost.every team has issues.buffalo lost starks,Can't lost thier best rb.eastern probably lost the qb for the year.the team needs take care of business.i don't think asking for 5,or 6 wins in one of the worst conferences is asking alott.cmu is not that good of a team.they are 16-11 the last two years.i went to the georgia/cmu game last year, and they got destroyed.they gave up 70 points to clemson, and got beat by a 1-aa team two years ago.i am so sick of reading how great cmu is in football.if they were in any otherconference except the mac,or sun belt they would be a .500 team.there is no reason akron cannot win this road game. We need to go punch them in the mouth. Hopefully are offense can put some numbers up. Go Zips! Quote

It also just beat an MSU team on the road that most predictions have finishing in the middle of the Big Ten or higher. And, for the first time in awhile, CMU dominated a team that it should have dominated. I realize that you played IU right after your team received a big shock, but it seems the shocks are not done coming yet (possible asst coach suspensions?), and this game is not in the friendly confines of your new stadium. With Jacquemain, I think you'd give us a very close game, which is typical when our teams hook up. With Rodgers still finding his way, CMU wins by double digits and may even cover the spread. Quote
