soccerbirdie16 Posted October 19, 2009 Report Posted October 19, 2009 I have been following the women's soccer team and see that they are doing much better this year. I came across this website that shows their 2010 recruits. It looks like the future is bright! (Sort by college)https://sites.google.com/site/soccerrecruits/ Quote

ZachTheZip Posted October 19, 2009 Report Posted October 19, 2009 Women's soccer is doing much better than they were predicted to. They're becoming a pretty entertaining team to watch. If anybody is heading up to watch the mens team play at Buffalo before heading on the 'Cuse for football, get there early and cheer on the lady Zips as they will also be playing at Buffalo right before the mens team in a double-header. soccerbirdie16 Posted October 23, 2009 Author Report Posted October 23, 2009 With 5 minutes remaining...Lady Zips are up 2-0 over Buffalo. If I am looking at the numbers correctly, a win tonight would clinch a playoff spot for the Lady Zips! Quote
ZachTheZip Posted October 24, 2009 Report Posted October 24, 2009 Don't forget that the women's team plays at Can't on Sunday at 1:00. Quote
ZachTheZip Posted October 25, 2009 Report Posted October 25, 2009 Don't forget that the women's team plays at Can't on Sunday at 1:00.The women's soccer team beat Can't 1-0 on a goal in the 87th minute to ruin the flushers' senior day.The Lady Zips have now won 5 straight, and are in position to get a top-four seed, which means that we would host a 1st round MAC tournament game at Lee Jackson field against a lower seed.Their next game is at home against Ohio on Thursday at 3PM. This game is absolutely huge. It is senior night, and it will probably determine whether we get a MAC tournament home game or not. Quote

If undefeated CMU beats EMU and Akron beats Ohio; the zips would clinch 2nd place in the MAC!! It would be great to see a big crowd at the game! Quote
