ZachTheZip
Anthony Hitchens has done a lot for Clearview football in the past four seasons. This season, he finished with 1,428 yards rushing and 26 total touchdowns, including three receiving touchdowns, a kickoff return for a touchdown and a TD pass. Defensively, he led the Clippers with 76 tackles, three sacks, two interceptions and four forced fumbles.“This was definitely a fun season,” said Hitchens, who is entertaining offers from Akron, Indiana, Iowa and Kansas, but will make his decision sometime in January. “It wasn’t the greatest, because we didn’t make the playoffs and that really sucked. The best thing about it is we stuck together even when we realized we wouldn’t make the playoffs.”Last month, Hitchens was awarded for his excellence on and off the field as he became the recipient of the Coca Cola Golden Helmet, which is awarded to the top senior football player in Lorain County. If he's the football equivalent of Humpty, we need to go after this kid hard.Oh, and Merry Christmas, Zipsnation!
