Amazing stat of the week:After the Zips were ranked 12th in the coaches mid-major top 25 poll and lost to VCU, which was ranked 19th at the time, the Zips remain above both VCU and Can't in this week's poll!The Zips have fallen from 12th to 17th while VCU fell from 19th to 20th and Can't rose from 25th to 22nd based on all game results from the previous week.We complain a lot about the Zips not getting any respect, so it's nice to see that this group of mid-major coaches has more respect for the Zips program than it probably deserves after the decisive loss to VCU.Mid-Major Top 25 Poll

No, the amazing stat is that Gonzaga is still in the mid-major poll and that they are ranked third.So much for credibility of this poll..

VCU is very very tough at home. I think that is taken into account, as well as the fact that the Zips are known to e tough at home as well.The Zips have done very well on the road, and that is the mark of a good team.
