zip37 Posted October 2, 2005 Report Posted October 2, 2005 It's beyond me how anyone can be unprepared mentally to go yo work--I worked 38 yrs of midnites, swings and days. I had to be mentally ready when I was scheduled to work, the display of the football team was an utter disgrace. THEY WERE NOT READY TO PLAY---DISGUSTING. Quote
Quickzips Posted October 2, 2005 Report Posted October 2, 2005 They were ready to play. In the first half. Just looked like they got a 10 point lead at the end of the half and figured that was enough. Lets stop kidding ourselves guys. We eeked out a win at home vs. NIU and thought we had recieved our welcome letter into the MAC elite. We're still a MAC program thats slowly trying to crawl out of the cellar. We're not at the top and we're not at the bottom. We're just somewhere in the middle with a young coach who let a young team get too full of themselves after one big win. Hopefully JD and this team has learned their lesson. If they haven't then we're doomed for another X amount of Lee Owens style football years. Hopefully this is one case in which history does not repeat itself. Quote
