UA Fan Posted September 25, 2010 Report Posted September 25, 2010 15 yard penalty on the Zips Touchdown, Indiana at least we're consistent Quote
ZachTheZip Posted September 25, 2010 Report Posted September 25, 2010 I didn't expect to win. I don't even expect us to cover the spread. I do, however expect to see the level of intensity that we played with against Kentucky that kept it close for longer than expected. And I expect that intensity to last longer than a quarter and a half this time. Quote
ZachTheZip Posted September 25, 2010 Report Posted September 25, 2010 Wow. Igor makes a 45-yarder. Quote
ZachTheZip Posted September 25, 2010 Report Posted September 25, 2010 That scoring drive had Nicely throw 4/6 for 33 yards, all 4 completions to different receivers, including one to a TE and one to a FB, and even one to Jalil Carter . Quote
ZachTheZip Posted September 25, 2010 Report Posted September 25, 2010 No team can survive racking up penalties in the redzone. Especially when you're a team like Akron. 14-3 IU Quote
UA Fan Posted September 25, 2010 Author Report Posted September 25, 2010 Do you know if Chase Hoobler is redshirting for IU? Quote
akron football Posted September 25, 2010 Report Posted September 25, 2010 jalil catch the ball we dont need any dramatics after the play Quote

ZachTheZip Posted September 25, 2010 Report Posted September 25, 2010 Do you know if Chase Hoobler is redshirting for IU? It looks like it. He hasn't played yet this year. Quote
ZachTheZip Posted September 25, 2010 Report Posted September 25, 2010 we need recievers not convereted safety We need safeties not converted to receiver. Quote
akron football Posted September 25, 2010 Report Posted September 25, 2010 do we have anyone that can catch the ball Quote
ZachTheZip Posted September 25, 2010 Report Posted September 25, 2010 Look how conservative playcalling becomes when we're in the redzone. Quote
ZachTheZip Posted September 25, 2010 Report Posted September 25, 2010 do we have anyone that can catch the ball Our FB might also be our best WR. Quote
ksu sucks Posted September 25, 2010 Report Posted September 25, 2010 A few thoughts.... -It sounds like we're making the right calls on offense. The execution just isn't there. -I don't think our defense is up to the challenge today. I hope that they prove me wrong. -If Ianello can still recruit like he did during his PAC 10 years, we will be just fine in a few years. I hate saying "in a few years", but we just don't have the talent right now. -Indiana students evidently brought signs begging coach Porter to return to IU. It looks like we aren't the only soccer first school. Quote
akron football Posted September 25, 2010 Report Posted September 25, 2010 If the ball hits your hand should you catch it? Quote
ZachTheZip Posted September 25, 2010 Report Posted September 25, 2010 If the ball hits your hand should you catch it? Maybe coach Jackson needs to invest in some new, stickier gloves for his players. Quote
ZachTheZip Posted September 26, 2010 Report Posted September 26, 2010 Indiana might have the best offense in the Big Ten. But we still need to stop the big plays. Make them beat us the hard way. Quote
akron football Posted September 26, 2010 Report Posted September 26, 2010 33 has been torched all game Quote
ZachTheZip Posted September 26, 2010 Report Posted September 26, 2010 33 has been torched all game Josh Richmond, Safety. He's coming back from an injury against Syracuse. maybe he should waited another week before coming back. Quote
