The day after our National Champion Zips kick off the season against Cleveland St.

AO Akron will take to the field against AO Cleveland on Aug. 28th at 4pm for the 2nd Leg of the Rust Belt Cup in Akron on the full 11 v 11 outdoor field located outside of Akron Indoor Soccer Facility. 73 W. Rosewood Ave. Akron, OH 44301

This match is for Official Women and Men AO Members Only, so if you’re interested in playing and not a member, Contact AO Akron at aoakron@gmail.com. I also need T-shirt sizes before the end of the weekend if you're planning to play.

This is a Friendly, so no slide tackling, elbows, or overly aggressive play. It’s 11 v 11 for 90 minutes. We like everyone to play, doesn’t matter how good of condition you’re in or if you haven’t played for 10 years. Everyone gets to play. Men, women, young, old, and out of shape.

If you would not like to participate, please come out and join us in the festivities and watch NE Ohio first ever American Outlaws friendly. We invite family, friends, neighbors, and the postman to come out and join in on the fun.

After the match we’ll head up the street to the Barley House in downtown Akron for drinks, food, get to know each other, and hand out the Rust Belt Cup.

Do you have a picture of the cup? I was going to suggest you seek sponsorship of the Dept of Engineering Corrosion Control Program. However, you may be seeking just the proper patina of iron oxide, which they might be offended by.
