bigzipguy Posted October 1, 2011 Report Posted October 1, 2011 3-0 final. Hope we are not starting to lose our composure with all the fouls. Quote
bisbee Posted October 1, 2011 Author Report Posted October 1, 2011 39 total fouls...yikes...21-18 WMU Quote
GoZips88 Posted October 1, 2011 Report Posted October 1, 2011 Akron vs. Western has been very physical in recent years. Quote
UAZipster0305 Posted October 1, 2011 Report Posted October 1, 2011 I am somewhat disappointed to not see Mattocks having scored in the past few matches. I would say he is our only player with a realistic chance to compete for the Herman Trophy. Caldwell is solid and might be a distant candidate, but he does not have the historic resume prior to last year's NCAA Tournament. I don't think it should be, but unfortunately, that's a factor. bisbee Posted October 1, 2011 Author Report Posted October 1, 2011 at least ,as far as i can tell from gametracker,no akron injuries Quote

Agree but it shows offensive depth of the team. Quote
UAZipster0305 Posted October 1, 2011 Report Posted October 1, 2011 I'll trade Herman Trophies for National Championships any time though. Quote
bisbee Posted October 1, 2011 Author Report Posted October 1, 2011 Looks like gametracker could not keep the scorers straight. Quinn had the first two...nice job. Quote
bobbyake Posted October 1, 2011 Report Posted October 1, 2011 Attendance for the game was 1,431 which is very good for Western Michigan. BTW, Meves had 3 saves today from 3 shots on goal. That should be enough to silent his critics until UCSB. Quote
