zipinnc
I sent a question/comment to Wistrcill a few days ago. He replied. I asked about how they are maesuring progress. The tone of the e-mail is a little different than ones previous. He really seemed to be emphasizing the need to come out of the next 6 games with some wins. Maybe he is feeling some pressure and just maybe he has expressed that to Ianello. We can only hope.Good post Lee and if we read between the lines there probably is some frustration. If someone could see in the mind of TW, we might see a guy who believes he has done everything he can, in terms of scheduling, to make this season tolerable. I think this is a great schedule and perfectly set up for a team to have early season success and then carry that success into the home stretch. If TW is using the scientific method to evaluate the program, he is probably eliminating the schedule as one of those reasons they are doing poorly...I would. Now he has to start looking at other reasons and this is how change happens. Now the questions become: Is it the coach? Is it the players? Is it the facilities? Was it TW's decision making? Is it the band? Do we need to build a playroom for the FB players to watch TV in?You can't be serious. This post is a joke right?? I know your arrogance knows no bounds but to suggest that this schedule was set up for early success is mind boggling."Hi Doug, I'm sarcasm, I don't believe we've met. Let me introduce you my friend, common sense."

K92
I would like to nominate myself for starting the dumbest thread of the year. How naive to think this team would start winning down the stretch and yes, some of the players finally laid down and quit last night. I guess the brilliant decision to go for two and the win, which was supposedly popular with the team, didn't translate into anything positive going forward. Blowing an opportunity to beat a terrible team at home by making a stupid "ballsy" gamble...where have Ianello's balls been for the rest of the season? He could have utilized these fabled balls last night with the play calling to start the game. The defense gifts two 3 & outs to start the game and we are calling the same old run off tackle on 1st and 2nd downs, incomplete pass punt bullshit. Who is calling the plays? Ianello or Latina? Whichever needs fired today. I can't take it any more. The biggest game of the year is a week from Saturday and we have absolutely no momentum whatsoever heading into the game. Flatter than a pancake. We have a running back that appeared to intentionally run out of bounds 2 yards before the stick last night. That told me, right there, that this season is over. I think there is a real possibility that we get embarrassed by a pathetically bad Can't team on Senior Day. My well of optimism ran dry last night and I am extremely pissed off and embarrassed. K92
Is it any revelation that there are several MAC teams on our schedule that are beatable? That's the case every year, no matter how bad we are. But, as this team grows and hopefully gets more competitive, I think we will indeed find that having Temple out of the way early was a blessing. This gives us a nice stretch of games in a row now where our opponent probably is not capable of blowing us out. Nice to see that I was not the only one to make a ridiculous statement in this thread.
