FearTheRoo Posted February 12, 2006 Report Posted February 12, 2006 Found this over on the MAC bbs in the Can't State Threads:After the flushes dismal performance at Toledo, perhaps Jim Christian needs to take a Zen approach in coaching his remaining games. A Zen approach emphasizes total relaxation as well as total concentration. Maybe after they lose to NIU Sunday they will resort to smoking pot during pregame. And then when Buffalo hands them a loss they will step it up to hypnosis. WTF???!! Quote
fear the brown roo Posted February 12, 2006 Report Posted February 12, 2006 yeah take the zen approach like phil jackson. it's easy, just have the best talent in the world and sit back and be an overrated coach while the talent takes over on the court. Quote
mwilly Posted February 12, 2006 Report Posted February 12, 2006 Some flushes of the past already havetried the pregame pot routine. Anybody remember Josh Cribbs? Quote
zen Posted February 12, 2006 Report Posted February 12, 2006 A genuinely "zen" approach would ultimatley entail the harmonious perfection of teamwork and athletic performance regardless of the score.:lol:I think those hippies should stick to lenin, chavez & mao, and leave eastern philosophy out of it.
