Something that I would love to see here

After watching OU beat Western tonight I saw coach Groce go up to the student section and shake their hands and thank them. I know that Reggie Witherspoon and his players take a trip around the arena shake hands after games as well. I believe that this is a great practice to make the fans and team feel as if they are all dependent on one another to achieve a common goal. I'd love to see a tradition like this begin at the JAR. Ultimately, I think that this would help build an even stronger bond between the team and it's loyal fans and possibly increase attendance as well. What could it hurt??

** Obviously, the title should read; Something that I'd love to see here

Not entirely sure what you have in mind, but the team comes over to the ROWDIES after the game and goes through a "high five" line. I think it would be even cooler if they stayed out there and sang the alma mater with us. The soccer team engaging in the "I Believe" chant is the absolute coolest. Porter is the best coach on campus for making the fans and specifically the ROWDIES a part of the team. From the pre game march, to buying us pizza and sending us pre-match emails urging us to show up. I wish all the UA coaches would have the same initiative. The basketball team does a decent job, but they could be better.
