The BG announcer is an absolute idiot.

Watching the stream of the Can't BG game.

At the half, the announcer first said:

Buffalo won today. At 10-4, they trail 12-1 Akron by 1 1/2 games

Before I could finish scratching my head over that one, he said:

"Can't trails BGSU by 8 at the half 38-32

Makes you appreciate Steve French

I've heard more announcers through the live streaming from the home team than previous years. I'm surprised how bad some of them are. BG's guy had a bad game last night, especially when he thought he was off mic during a stoppage. Buffalo and NIU's announcers seemed pretty clueless as well. Steve Baker for Miami was good, but I havent heard his replacement yet (I think he retired). The guys for OU are solid too.

But I agree about French, hes good. Steve Mix on the other hand...

The NIUradioguy@aol.com has been there for a looooong time. He always did a great job when I have listened. Nice guy too.
