fallingzips
The compliance officer is on leave. Are there NCAA sanctions coming? Or is one of MT's hires not cutting it. I hope we can trust in MT.

Guest zipalong
Porter played football and graduated from Tennessee. Oh, for those who were discussing the Wingfoots, I noticed that they are currently coached by Robert Smith. Is that the old "Something Smith" that played at Akron 30 years ago or so? Randy Berentz (sp) who I saw was in the Hall of Fame for the national industrial division or whatever, also played for the Zips. A former head coach for the Wingfoots was also a coach for the USA Olympic babketball team

Guest Guest_Z.I.P.
Rumors, rumors, rumors. We really should try and control those. Oh, and BTW -- that coach Zip'long mentioned is probably Mike Harkins, the UA legend from the 50's, who coached for many years at Eastern Montana -- now MT.St-Billings. He was considered one of the defensive geniuses among coaches in his day -- authored the well-read "Complete Book of Zone-Game Basketball" and was an coaching assistant for the US men's team in the '76 Montreal Olympics. He's retired in Billings, in his 70s.
