fear the brown roo
payback for last year at the gund or q or whatever it was then. first step on the road to being :macc:
dialsfan11
This will be a definate Shellacking. WMU was one of the worst teams, in my opinion, that came to the JAR all year. Them barely pulling it out against a terrible Central team at home shows they can't handle a team like the high powered Zips. We have a walk to the finals. Looks like that number one seed really worked for ya Shit State. lolHAHAHAHAHAHA

fear the brown roo
gotta be careful not to look past anyone. any team can get hot. just look at the NCAA'S every year where one or two teams shock the hell out of everyone. let's not be the team that gets upset. UADavid
I remeber that WMU game last year. From the jaws of victory...........
FearTheRoo
Let's not look past them, but I am encouraged after beating them twice this year. The last one on their turf was a good ass whoooopin'!
Valpo Zip
On one side, let's not look past WMU but on the other side, let's make sure we wisely use our energy to be alive on Saturday. It seems that the winner of the other sider of the bracket (OU, Can't, or Miami) should be more worn out that the winner of our bracket (hopefully us), but still, it won't hurt if KD goes deep on his bench in a game that is going our way coz if i have to choose, i would rather win all 3 Mac tournament games by 1 point each rather than winning the first two by 20 and loosing the final ! Z.I.P.
Dunno if anyone saw this but Western eeked out a late win over EMU tonight and will be our semi-finals opponent on Thursday.Ummm, excuse me, but it would be nice if this WERE a SEMI-final game. Unfortunately its just a QUARTERFINAL, the first of three required wins before Akron earns its appointment for The Big Dance. And no, we Can't look past the Broncos. They're the only team in the MAC whose coaching is as good as our own -- look out for this team next year, I think the MAC title in 2007 will come down to these two teams -- WMU has the top recruiting class in the league coming.Go BB Zips! We're #1. :macc: And of course:
GoZips88
Tough to beat an opponent three times in a season? Just food for pessimist thought ...See everyone at the Q on Thursday! GO ZIPS!
liljc
That maybe true, gozips88, but when your record is 14-4 and you've swept the West, you're gonna have to beat some teams three times come tournement time. It's a nice concern to have.

mrelegazna
I'm glad to be playing a team that's slumping a bit. They had a chance on Saturday to wrap up the MAC West title at home against NIU, but lost by double-digits. Then last night they had to come back to beat EMU at home. But you never know. We will be in for a dogfight Thrusday if we are too busy looking ahead to the semis/finals.
zipsbandman
We need to pound on Western early on with everything we got. I don't want this to be a close game because we need to rest the starters if we can later on in the game. I'm thinking a lot of the games on the other side of the bracket will be fairly close and that can work to our advantage come finals.
