johnnyzip84
GT article in the Beacon Those who have talked with University of Akron basketball coach Keith Dambrot would do a double-take after hearing him talk about freshmen Jake Kretzer and Reggie McAdams. “They’re two of the best freshmen we’ve ever had here,” he said without a moment’s hesitation after Wednesday morning’s practice as the Zips worked on preparations for their trip to Cary, S.C., to take on Coastal Carolina. CincyZip
I remember during the basketball banquet in May where Dambrot joked with Nick Harney about the NCAA adding more allowed practice time for this season. Dambrot laughed knowing that Harney would take the news hard. The type of freshman we have now are the type of guys you build your program around. Harney, on the other hand, is the type of player that puts you over the top.

And when he figures out what a great defender he can be and how much that can add to his overall game, not to mention to his team, he's going to be first-team All-MAC. Maybe even POY.
