Freshmen finally added to the football roster

Must have been waiting on signing Fransohn Bickley.

All of the players announced on signing day are on the roster, including JUCO players CJ Mizell and Keontae Hollis, which is great news. The only one missing is Anthony Lauro, who we know will be greyshirting this year.

In addition, late signee DL Darius Copeland and walk-on LB Andrew Hauser are there.

Moses McCray is on the roster, but I don't see any of the other possible transfers yet.

Some previously unknown additions to the roster are freshmen DL Robert Kensinger (Strongsville HS), OL Ryan Noland (Southeast HS), LB Granyl Smith (Gahanna Lincoln HS), DL Christopher Spruill (John Adams HS). Likely all walk-ons. We also have a transfer from D-II Mercyhurst University (Erie, PA): QB Matthew Hoyer, who originally went to St Ignatius.

No sign of some of the later reported recruits, such as Dmitre Aaron, Johnnie Martin, or walk-on Brady Berger.

Seems like he had about as much trouble staying eligible as he did not being last in wind sprints. There was a time when I thought he could provide useful snaps, but with the array of D-Line talent now on the roster I'm not concerned over this loss.

Yes, James Price is missing. Don't know if he'll ever be back. Even without him, our D-line has improved vastly compared to last season both in talent and in depth.

Is Matthew Hoyer related to Browns QB Brian Hoyer, who I believe, also is an Ignatius grad? Maybe his younger brother?

Just looked at Mathew Hoyer's profile. He is indeed the younger brother of Brian Hoyer.

Finally figured out what happened to James Price. Transferred to D-II school IUP, same school as former Zips QB Steve Franco.
