ZachTheZip
A local player I'm surprised we haven't offered is Cornerback Stephen Mosley from Buchtel.
K92
I see Caruso has an impressive list of offers: Harvard Crimson, Cornell Big Red, Yale Bulldogs, Pennsylvania Quakers Pretty hard for a MAC school to compete with that list. Or pretty easy, since Ivy schools do not grant athletic scholarships. While they do give out need-based scholarships, it might not be enough to cover everything. 33Akrondad7
Kid at Akron Springfield Larry Boso Seen him play twice, Ravenna and Thank4giving game. Has no D1 offers but a few D2.THX man. Thats my boy. He does have a few offers but he doesnt plan on playing football. He has been training MMA. Trust me when I say free education is more important than getting your brains knocked in. I would of gave anything to see him and my other boy in a ZIPS uni. mightyogre
Jack Alpert from Cuyahoga Heights, the same school that gave us Zach D'Orazio, might be worth a look. As a smaller program, talent from CHHS can get overlooked in favor of prospects from the bigger schools in the Cleveland area. I'm trying to think of off-the-radar players within an hour or two from campus. Agree on Alpert. The kid ran 4.43 on hard surface, 4.56 on grass. Holds school 40 and shuttle records, had the longest broad jump at the Toledo camp @ BW. Very long reach, can get up, has ball skills. Every D2 school and 3 in the state is after him, plus a small FCS school in Florida. hudl film Small school kid who doesn't fit "the profile" ? Senior year tape can be found here- http://www.hudl.com/athlete/o/2817449/highlights/78771377 Speed and routes looks legit to me. Reported 40 and shuttle times are very impressive. Add 15-20 pounds in the right places through a red shirt year and things could get interesting.
