akronzips71 Posted January 23, 2014 Report Posted January 23, 2014 There are teams that would kill to be 12-6 (football anyone). This is not our best year ever, but 12-6 really truly is not bad. If we went 22-9 regular season (do I have the math right DIG?) that would not be horrible for the post Zeke (and AA) era. So lets stop crying about the losses. It happens. Quote

Dave in Green Posted January 23, 2014 Report Posted January 23, 2014 You've got the math right. There are 13 regular season MAC games left, and the Zips can hit the magic 22 wins by going 10-3 the rest of the way. Even if they don't, the MAC tournament offers more opportunities. But I'd like to think that tonight's game really builds the team's self-confidence, and that they hit 22 wins before the regular MAC season is over and keep right on winning into the post-season.
