UA Fan Posted August 24, 2006 Report Posted August 24, 2006 did anyone notice there's 16 games scheduled for next thursday night, including 8 MAC participants? I knew they were getting rid of the early-early season pigskin classic, etc. but I didn't realize there was such a flurry of thu. games until I bothered to look at the schedule on Yahoo Sports NCAAF. Looks like BC at CMU will be on ESPN2 & Spurrier's team will be on ESPN. One more week to go ! Quote
Ryno aka Menace Posted August 24, 2006 Report Posted August 24, 2006 I like Thursday night football...Hell Football is on every night of the week except Wednsday. And I watch highlights all day on Wed. just to do it all over again the following week!! Quote
Buckzip Posted August 24, 2006 Report Posted August 24, 2006 Finally football season is here. This has been a long off season. Quote
mrelegazna Posted August 24, 2006 Report Posted August 24, 2006 What's nice is that 10 the 11 MAC games will be broadcast either on TV or on the web opening week, with Indiana-Western Michigan the only exception (You have to live in the proper market to see BSU-EMU though). My source (get ready to drool, by the way, if you like comprehensiveness. To call this a "TV listing" doesn't do it justice):http://mattsarz44017.tripod.com/football2006.html Quote
liljc Posted August 24, 2006 Report Posted August 24, 2006 There are only two seasons as far as I am concerned. Football season and not football season. Quote
UAZipster0305 Posted August 24, 2006 Report Posted August 24, 2006 Soccer season should also be notable for any Zips fan as the men's team will quite possibly briing UA its first ever National Championship in the next couple years! Quote
