Just stopping by to say hey. Good luck next Saturday. I know there are a lot of homers that feel real confident about PSU winning easily, but that's not how I feel. I know Getsy will be up for the game big time and want to prove something. PSU will have a lot to prove also. We're' replacinig 4 O-Lineman and our whole secondary. I'm always scared to death the first game of the year especially when alot of the kids aren't used to performing in front of 100k. Anyway good luck, and hopefully for those who attend the game the PSU fans show class and respect.

I know many Penn State fans and most of them really are nice, respectful people. The only problem is that here in Akron, leading up to a game, we never hear from them. lctftjc, you are the exception to the rule when a game is near. None of us can wait for Sept 2 and only then will we know for sure who is the better team.Hey, I have a proposal. Why doesn't PSU throw this game and then we will help them beat Notre Dame? Sound like a deal? :D

"I know many Penn State fans and most of them really are nice, respectful people"No offense to our current poster, but if you would have gone to the PSU vs OSU game last year, you would not feel that way at all.

Mabye you misunderstood me. Most of the Penn State fans I know are really nice respectful people. I don't know that many that went to the OSU game, but I have heard stories about how rowdy the fans were. Besides,I'm pretty sure PSU considers the Suckeyes a rival of some sort. We can get pretty wild for the Can't game, but probably that's just because... :screwks:

"suckeyes" ranked #1 I guess means you suck.. :wall: I was at the game. I don't refer to loud energetic "rowdy" fans as being bad. That is what good fans are. I consider the ones that throw things at the visitors, yell viscious obscenities at visitors with small kids, pushing and physically assualting people as bad, rude, jackasses.I witnessed all of this at the game last year.I know everyone has good and bad fans. I know there are quite a few a-hole OSU fans. However, in my many years of going to away games both for OSU, and UA, I have never seen anything close to what I was part of last year.

I was very warmly greeted by PSU fans in 2004, and enjoyed the game. B) My only complaint was the incessant playing of their fight song throughout State College. :wall: As for their treatment of OSU fans, a number of them expressed dissapointment on how they have been treated in Cowlumbus in the past and chose not to return. Truth be told, OSU fans are not known for being sportsman like or poilte. There is a great college football atmosphere at OSU but not if you are in the visitors section. A a very ironic tradgedy really :( and we'd do well to avoid that in our own house.
