High School Recruits

I was looking on Ohio Preps.com this morning at the Zips 2005 high school recruits and it sure is encouraging to see the Zips actively recruiting and legitimately competing for talent against the likes of the West Virginias,

Pittsburgs, and Minnesotas instead the likes of the Cant States, Ball States and Eastern Michigans (meaning no disrespect to the "likes" of two of the latter three).

Equally encouraging is the number of high profile impact local and regional (NE Ohio) recruits.

While speed kills, REAL COACHING, TALENT, AND DEFENSE WINS. We NOW have the real coaching buuuuuuuuuuut in all honesty JD did not inherit an abundances of (if any) three star D-1 talent necessary to legitimately compete in every game against the non bottom feeders of the MAC.

Still, I believe with the REAL COACHING staff now in place and an improved DEFENSE (could it be any worse than it has been for the past few years) a lot of you doubting Thomases are going to be pleasantly surprised as early as the end of the first game in Happy Valley with the difference REAL COACHING ( could it be any worse than it has been for the past few years) can make.

OBTW that sound you hear is the sound of the horn of the band wagon. FYI I'm the guy riding shot gun.
