ZachTheZip
They win and still complain? At least we have a right to complain because we lost. What a bunch of whiners . Get over it! they are playing at Notre Dame next week, and have a very good chance of winning. They need to get their heads out of and get ready for next week. Buckzip
So other than avoiding the point, do our players play dirty?
ZachTheZip
They were referencing those penalties commited by the O-line, I believe. Those were stupid, not dirty (unless you count the mud). It looked to me like PSU got away with a bit more uncalled penalties than us. Mabye the Ref's were intimidated by the crowd. Anyways, NO we did not play dirty.
Buckzip
Alleman should have been benched for a series after that crap.We are moving the ball, on the road, against a tough team. He blows it by being stupid. He is a freaking senior. No excuse.BTW, the holding call on the big pass play was bogus.
PSU NIP
I watched the tape this evening, and I didn't see a bunch if cheap plays. The only questionable play when when your o-lineman hog tied Shaw and sprained his ankle. The holding on the long pass play was there. You can see Sean Lee trying to get to Getsy and the Akron o-lineman OBVIOUSLY holding his jersey. The only reason why it was questionable was the fact that holding happens all the time. liljc
Sean Lee had a lot more of Crouch's jersey than Crouch had of his. Roll the video tape and see for yourself. That one really hurt, because it negated a first down. The tackle that Crouch made against Shaw wasn't intended to be dirty, either. He is slow footed and was badly beaten, so he tackled him. It was so obvious that I cringed when I saw it happening. Too bad Shaw got hurt on the play, I am sure Crouch didn't intend that.I have looked several times but I can't see what happened with Alleman.
