Buckzip Posted September 17, 2006 Report Posted September 17, 2006 This, mostly senior, o-line is way underachieveing. They can't pass block, or run block. We are in for a long season if they don't get their sh** together.I really expected much more from these guys than we are getting. Quote
bobbyake Posted September 17, 2006 Report Posted September 17, 2006 on a lot of plays, they did a good job making a pocket for Getsy. Quote
RACER Posted September 17, 2006 Report Posted September 17, 2006 true. but we did not get the job done on the goal line. we should have kicked the feild goal with 12 min left. Quote
Zip N' Dots Posted September 17, 2006 Report Posted September 17, 2006 A field goal try would have made sense, but do you really blame the call? The kicker already missed one field goal and later had an extra point blocked during the game. He has missed a couple kicks already during this short season. I agree with the call, I just wish Kennedy could have been out there for those for plays, but a shoulder injury kept him out! Quote
liljc Posted September 17, 2006 Report Posted September 17, 2006 I felt like they made some adjustments at the half and did a pretty good job from that point on. That being said, they ARE an experienced line and it should not take them 3 quarters of football to get it all together. Bad? I dunno. Inconsistant? Certainly. Quote
RACER Posted September 17, 2006 Report Posted September 17, 2006 i agree totally. if you cannot kick what is an extra point, then we are in big trouble the rest of the year. Quote
Valpo Zip Posted September 17, 2006 Report Posted September 17, 2006 I think that Getsy is the one who takes time to get his game on... MCB, NCSU and today.Luke plays 3 bad quarters and gets on fire in the fourth... The OL had nothing to do with all the interceptions and the overthrown TD pass to Tuzze on 4th down. Quote
fear the brown roo Posted September 17, 2006 Report Posted September 17, 2006 i think these guys can all play well but it seems to me that it's rare that all 5 are playing well at the same time. one guy will step up and have a good game and another will play poorly, then the next game someone else will play well and another will have a bad game. these guys have been playing together as a unit for over a season now, i'd think there would be better chemistry between them as a unit than what we're seeing.
