Balsy Posted January 31, 2017 Report Share Posted January 31, 2017 I don't know if anyone came across this or not, but The Buchtelite, the Independent Student News paper has suspended operations. It's the second time this has happened in the past 3-years. I worked there myself as a managing editor, opinion and sports editor for three years. From my experience, administration was outright hostile towards the students that worked there. Non-inclusive, barring from or controlling all interviews. Athletics was exceptionally uncooperative in getting approvals for press passes for writers/photographers. Of course that was previous administrations. Pity.
