zff Posted July 9, 2004 Report Posted July 9, 2004 With summer camp being a month away, I was just wondering if all the incoming freshman made grades. I know in recent years past there was always 2 or 3 players who signed letters of intent in FEB and were never heard from again. . So if anybody know please let us know. I wonder how many of the freshman going to Ashland made grades........ Quote
old zip Posted July 9, 2004 Report Posted July 9, 2004 DON'T WORRY ABOUT WHAT'S GOING ON AT ASHLAND.......THEY DID'NT SIGN SIX GUYS FROM ONE SCHOOL...........THAT'S Can't'S OLD PHILOSOPHY ALSO!!!!!!! Quote
zff Posted July 9, 2004 Author Report Posted July 9, 2004 What the hell's wrong with signing six kids from one school. Glenville is a football and track player factory. Puls it is a local school that could help attendence. Can't does this with schools 8 hours away. I think you need to start a eaglesnation.org and start pimping Ashland University!!!!! Quote
old zip Posted July 9, 2004 Report Posted July 9, 2004 Did glenville win the state championship or something? there is no way they 6 division 1 players .....you will see...... Quote
GoZips Posted July 10, 2004 Report Posted July 10, 2004 OLDZIP, meaning no disrespect, I'm an old Zip myself. And, YES, Glenville won a state championship, however, not in football, but in track. Most of the Glenville kids JD signed were the runners on the track team. Speed kills. Speed kills. Speed kills. There is no substitute for speed. You can't block it out. You can't out weigh it. You can't teach it. Speed kills. Speed kills. Speed kills. Quote
old zip Posted July 10, 2004 Report Posted July 10, 2004 ohhhh.....o.k. track.............do they tackle now in track and field........a guess a have'nt benn to a meet lately. I'll bet all those glenville kids will qualify also....I hope they do...but still....come on taking 6 kids from one h.s. Iggy's never had that luxury. Quote
