It was getting pretty boring pounding them year after year......... At least now we can have a real rivalry game that may actually matter year after year.....and we can still pound them :chair: How can it almost be the third week in October and I've been to the Rubber Bowl once ? Thanks for leaving us with such a great schedule, Thomas/MAC :rolltide: Sorry, I just ripped the chosen one but this sucks. :ninja:

you right .if it was not for north texas we would have one win. we need more 1 for one games. if the team is not willing to give a return visit /then don't schedule them. with the 12 th game it gives more non bcs schools leverage now. i realize the top teams will not do one for one's like osu. that still leaves three non conference games to schedule home n home.

I understand the three away non-conference games to start the season. That's just the way it's been if we don't want to play Liberty or YSU (I don't). What I truly don't understand is why the MAC screwed us the way they did. We made a good showing in Detroit last year, especially at the bowl game. Maybe they figured putting us at Can't was the same as a home game. I don't know but I put much of the blame for the crappy MAC schedule on the MAC itself. Thomas didn't have any control over that. Fact is, I love that we played Penn State, NCST, and Cincinnati. We played well enough at Penn State, nabbed one at NCST and certainly had a chance for a 'W' at Cincinnati.
