gozips19
just some quick thoughts on the game.the more i watch harvey play the more he reminds me of terry glenn. the kid can flat out play!luke played like most of us thought he'd play all year. had a very good command of the o today and the team had a good flow most of the game. by far one of his better games.glad to see j.d. stick with the run but i would have liked to see walker get a few more carries towards the end of the game. its possible that j.d. was trying to get d.k. another 100 yard game?i think this has been said every game but way too many flags!!! are we becoming the miami of the mac?i am glad most people are seeing what i've been writing about c.j. today. the kid is still very raw but has a ton of talent.the d made some good adjustments against the run in the second half and was very impressed with stokes and jones. jones is on his was to super star status.while the attendance was a little low at the game the "in the seats" attendance wasn't as bad as some are saying. they reported just under 15k and i am guessing a little over 10k were there. i don't think all stayed the entire game either and i assume that skewed the numbers.over all a very solid game for the zips! if they stick with the run and stay away from turn overs they'll have a great chance at winning out! johnnyzip84
The actual crowd was definitely the smallest of the season, but still it was a far cry from a few Buffalo visits I can recall from the past. Other than the Roo Zoo it wasn't particularly vocal either, but the thing I notice lately is that more people actually pay attention to the game and that is a very good sign as what we all hope to be a more successful program begins to take shape.Getsy was superb, albeit against a weaker defense. Still it was fun to watch him and the receivers in tune, especially when it counted. Watching CJ was fun as well, though I wished we would have seen a few more QB keeps other than the QB draw. The lefty has plenty of arm strength, as evidenced by the ball thrown to Lindsay that drew the interference penalty. All in all, the game was a success, but the Zips will have to raise it a notch or two over the next two weeks for sure. Zip N' Dots
I think there were more people in the beer garden sucking down the $1 beers than watching the game. But hey, do you blame them? I would guess there was closer to 5,000 people there rather than the 14+ that is being reported.
