timmyboy Posted January 27, 2007 Report Posted January 27, 2007 first of all id like to say great win zips. way to show everyone on a national stage that the Zips are a team to look out for. 2nd: i was sick so i stayed at home an watched the game today on espn2, and id like to ask people who also watched it on TV, do you feel that they used Lebron James name way to much when they refered to the zips. It seems to me that everytime they said anything good about the zips it always came back to lebron james. Dont get me wrong because i have met lebron personally and he is a great guy, but isnt it about time they let rome, dru and KD step out of his shadow and be their own person. I know id hate if i were to go somewhere an the onkly thing that ever came up was LeBron this and LeBron that. maybe im wrong. let me know what you all think Quote
timsum1283 Posted January 27, 2007 Report Posted January 27, 2007 yea they definetly used LeBron too much in the commentary. But the Zips actions spoke louder than the announcers words. I thought it was a fantabulous game all around. I don't know why but Cedrick Middleton is my new favorite player. Quade Milmum (sp?) is amazing too.The defense was tremendous and the blocked shots kept my jaw dropped. I really wish i was at the J.A.R. and from the looks of it, i could've gotten a ticket too because the arena wasn't as packed as a nationally televised game should be. Overall tho great game. Quote
FearTheRoo Posted January 27, 2007 Report Posted January 27, 2007 We are used to the LBJ connection and it's overuse. The players are too. Any educated fan who watched the game saw a complete domination today of a team that beat VaTech and held Pitt close. LBJ wasn't even in the building and they still won! Quote
