There are 13 TV slots, 1 on ESPN, 5 on ESPN2, 5 on ESPNU, and 2 on ESPN360. Right now Akron is #14 on the list of home teams based on RPI, just behind George Mason Oral Roberts, Indiana St. and Toledo. I know they don't go strictly off RPI, but I'm sure it plays a role... so I'd expect the U or 360

I think an ESPN2 game has to be considered. It's an exciting team, it will give them the opportunity to talk about LBJ for 2 hours and we just spanked a good MWU on the deuce. I agree it is a long shot, but I think Saturday's game may have upped our chances.I'd hate to play a West Coast team such as FS.

If given the choice, who would be the best(and realistic, knowing our RPI is 107) match-up for the Zips.I would take the following teams in order1) Holy Cross2) Evansville3) WinthropAll three teams are have better RPI's then the Zips and all three could be tournament teams.

Please allow me my own  The world isn't limited by the Great Lakes and the Mississippi River. Neither should be the Zips' "territory". If Gonzaga is willing to travel to play top teams, perhaps so should Akron. Here's hoping our NCAA bid is in San Diego or Seattle (not sure if those are host cities), as was Can't State (SD) about 3 or 4 years ago. Otherwise, I'm left watching the last 30 seconds of each half on CBS, and wondering if I make a trip to Anchorage in November. B) Brrrrr.Zip in Paradise
