zip37 Posted March 10, 2007 Report Posted March 10, 2007 In the 70s Larry Quarles hit a jumper from behind the basket at the FAR southeast end of Memorial Hall to beat YSU for the 3rd time in a season & won the Mideast/Great Lakes regional,Brian Leftover (Westover) put in a lay up w/2 sec on clock to beat Tenn. St. who was ranked #1 at the time, National semi-final at EVV. Tenn St had 2 who turned pro.Maybe those were more exciting/satisfying but I'm not sure.With ball ammunition lock and load, and of course Quote

However this team is not only talented, and plays together, but has heart. Let's not talk about comparisons, but just enjoy the moment. Less we forget ... And the Zips rule ... Quote
