I heard he was asked to either step down or he would be fired. Cant state coach Jim Christian is now talking to Utah about their coaching position. Cant AD spent the weekend with the AD from Utah and was asked for permission to talk to coach christian and it was granted. that shows how loyal Cant are to their coaches, if it were me an they asked ( after we just gave him an extension) i wouldsnt allow it. they did the same thing for gary waters, and stan heath. you am i Posted March 14, 2007 Report Share Posted March 14, 2007 as i recall dakich accepted the w.va. job and then changed his mind. i believe that the contract called for him to be paid big money. he's probably wishing he had a do-over on that one.
