Now that the dust has settled, I like everyone else was very disappointed in how we were treated, especially by the NIT selection. I feel bad for Dru and Romeo that there college carreers ended this way. However, for Keith, the team and the program, this snubbing has probably given MORE exposure than what Miami or Toledo seem to have gotten. I have never heard as much talk on "the street", on the news, on the radio about Akron basketball as I have heard the past few weeks. Even though we would have preferred a different type of "hype" and "exposure", let's hope this excitement for this team and the university flows over to football and basketball programs this fall.
