zff
• Mark Nori was hired by the 49ers as an offensive line assistant. He joined the 49ers staff after three years as the tight ends and tackles coach for the University of Akron.Nori to the 49ers
zip37
To quote Laing Kennedy "It's better to have coaches that others want, than to have coaches that no one wants." At the time Stan Heath just left Can't and we had Hipsher!Bedt fortune to him.
zipboy
Good luck to him but GP1 raised this issue last year. With all of the turnover on assistants, it has to take a toll on JD at least in time alone to interview and get someone in. If some assistants are not performing as well, it is hard to make a change. Some continuity is needed.
hey yo
Continuity? Remember it is the MAC! Great conference but still a stepping stone conference(last in salary excluding Temple). JD made some great hires and people have come to get them. It happens all over the MAC i.e. Western Michigan with 3 new coaches. Taver Johnson - DC Miami OH to Ohio State. One thing, JD held most of his staff together for three seasons. Considering the success that Akron has had - that is pretty good. He still has kept his OC in Moorhead and his DC in Fleming. That is a big deal. Whatever may be said this is a good staff with good recruiters and JD will continue to lose coaches because of the good hires he makes. It's the way of the MAC! Don't think it won't happen to KDambrot too! Someone is going to get pulled on!
zipsbandman
I'm hoping Fleming sticks around because if the zips have a good season and JD takes off I think he has the credentials to take over the program.
